The kalimbas are made of two different types of wood, the top layer consists of a type of wood with a lower density. Where does he come from?

This kalimba is produced in Italy, in a small workshop where two passionate craftsmen make new kalimbas for us every day. From receiving a simple block of wood and the harmonious steel they get to work with it until they finally end up with a beautifully finished kalimba in their hands. They then send them to us!

About our kalimbas

Many kalimbas currently on offer are mass produced in countries such as China and India. Basically there is nothing wrong with that, but not all production machines or employees are always able to produce premium kalimbas. It regularly happens that the highest tones do not resonate well and sounds stiff, and that the quality deteriorates after a few months.

We wanted to see this differently. That is why we started looking for a producer who can guarantee a high quality potash of constant quality. Because we can prevent this problem.
